Overview
High-traffic, revenue-critical Next.js production platform. Frontend reliability directly impacted SEO, paid traffic and customer acquisition.
This project is under NDA — I can't name the client or share screenshots publicly. Reach out and I'll walk you through the details in a call.
Challenge
A mature, revenue-critical rental platform where every regression on the frontend hits paid-traffic conversion. The pricing model was evolving (multi-currency, variable rental periods, mixed types), and non-technical teams needed to reorder revenue-critical listings without shipping code.
What I shipped
- Stabilised the SSR/SSG surface on Next.js App Router — regression prevention as a primary constraint.
- Designed defensive frontend logic around evolving backend pricing (multi-currency, mixed data types, variable rental periods) without breaking legacy content.
- Implemented CMS-driven sorting / prioritisation so non-technical teams could manage listings safely.
- Built complex responsive grid + calendar interfaces with conditional rendering across desktop, tablet and mobile.
- Integrated and stabilised third-party scripts and custom web components — resolved hydration and duplicate-initialisation issues.
